The Travis LaBoy Foundation for Supporting Autistic Causes and Kids(S.A.C.K.) is created to support a combination of educational, recreational and physical activities designed to support children with autism and families of children with autism. The foundation strives to enhance the quality of life of youth who are afflicted with autism and to promote the understanding, aid, education and treatment of autism.

 

To honor Travis’ trainer, whose son is diagnosed with non-verbal autism, Travis donated the seed monies for this foundation from his NFL signing bonus. In a recent speech to learning disabled athletes in Hawaii, Travis challenged these kids by asking, "Why try to fit in when you were made to stand out?" He believes their unique contributions are valuable and should be acknowledged.
